About Rancho Solano
Rancho Solano Private Schools

Established in 1954 by Dr. Tedii Freesmeyer, Rancho Solano Private Schools have earned a celebrated reputation for coupling accelerated academics with meaningful character development for its 1,700 students spread over 5 campuses. Rancho teachers present a curriculum firmly rooted in proven methods developed over five decades. The overall goal is to identify and exploit each student’s maximum capacity for growth. Dr. Freesmeyer’s charge to every teacher has been to “teach to the top” while developing the “Rancho 5” in every student: success, respect, consideration, responsibility, and politeness.

Rancho students are presented with active leadership development opportunities in community service, competitive athletics, and student government. Character development is the bedrock foundation upon which teachers, coaches, and mentors equip their students to build healthy minds and bodies while at the same time shaping their hearts for service and leadership. Students are also afforded time to explore their unique interests in dynamic classes and clubs centered in art, dance, technology, language, music, and choir.

A visit to any Rancho campus will reveal a community of happy, motivated students with a zeal for learning, inspiring teachers that work to draw out their students’ best, and caring administrators with a passion for their schools and their students.

I’d welcome you to visit our schools to see, first hand, what makes our scholastic community the finest in Arizona.
