Grade Level Benchmarks
RSPS Technology strategy involves incorporating technology into
each of the core subjects through projects which complement and
enhance classroom instruction. Students are given the opportunity
to work in video broadcasting, computer animation, web page design,
and traditional desktop publishing. Objectives outline an
aggressive technology program which leads students to perform at
least three years above the Arizona State Technology Standards.
Technology instruction incorporates basic keyboarding skills and
educational games to develop computer literacy.
Computer labs are equipped with personal computers utilizing the
Windows platform, and applications include word processing, desktop
publishing, powerpoint and graphic design projects.
