Rancho Solano’s cut off birthdate is September 1st.
Priority is given to current families, faculty and 26-27 waitlist families.

Schedule a kindergarten assessment
The Kindergarten Assessment is an in-house Rancho designed tool that all incoming Kindergarteners will take. This is assessment is approximately 30 minutes and is lead by our Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Assessments are scheduled between December 7th -February 12th.
Our Admissions Review Committee will conduct a holistic review of your child's applicant file. 2027-28 school year decisions will be made at the end of February.
Lower and Upper Elementary applications for the 27-28 school year will open on Thursday, October 1st and families have until Friday, January 29th to have completed their process.

Rancho Solano’s admissions process is carefully crafted to bring together academic excellence and an understanding of passion. Required documentation for 1st-5th grades include: Birth Certificate or Passport, immunization records, 26-27 Semester 1 Report Card, 25-26 Year End Report Card, Teacher Letter of Recommendation (This will be sent through your parent portal).
Schedule admissions assessment
1st - 2nd Grade (Dec-Feb): 1st and 2nd graders will schedule an in-person Rancho designed assessment. Students will need approximately 1 hour and this will be conducted by our Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
3rd-5th Grade (Oct-Jan): 3rd – 5th graders will schedule the Independent School Entrance Exam. The ISEE can be scheduled at the Ventura campus, by remote proctor or through the ERB testing service. ISEE EXAM LINK
Student visit opportunities
All applicants 2nd – 5th grade are required to attend a campus shadow day. For students outside of the State of Arizona, virtual interviews may be arranged.
