At our preparatory school in Arizona, students are protected by a clear and comprehensive child protection and safeguarding policy, which defines procedures for identifying, reporting, and addressing any concerns.
Campuses have full-time security guards, visitor screening with ID, PAS cards for student dismissal, and collaboration with local police and fire departments. Regular drills and security reviews keep students safe.
Quarterly lockdown and fire drills, clear crisis protocols in every classroom, and trained staff ensure rapid, effective responses to emergencies or threats.
Full-time nurses and CPR-trained faculty provide immediate care. Nurses manage medications and emergencies, exceeding minimum legal safety requirements for student health.
Curriculum teaches safe, responsible tech use, covering cyber-bullying, privacy, digital footprint, and online etiquette. IT systems are secure, supporting safe digital exploration.
School counselors offer individual, group, and crisis support across all grades. Peer Advocacy Clubs and SEL programs foster inclusion, conflict resolution, and emotional growth.
Programs like CHAMP and Rancho Five promote respect, responsibility, and empathy. Peer leadership, awareness campaigns, and character education prevent bullying and encourage positive behavior.
The School Nurse champions student health and wellbeing, providing expert care, first aid, and oversight of health services.
Acting as a trusted link between families, healthcare providers, and staff, the nurse ensures each child receives support, screenings, and physician-prescribed treatments in a safe, nurturing environment.
Confidential collaboration with counselors and educators helps every student thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
At Rancho Solano, our School Counselors guide students’ academic, social, and emotional growth from Pre-K through Grade 12. They provide whole-class lessons, small groups, and individual support, fostering self-confidence, healthy relationships, and resilience.
Acting as trusted advocates, counselors collaborate with families, staff, and the community to remove barriers, promote positive choices, and ensure every student thrives in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
