International Day
At Rancho Solano Preparatory School, every student’s wellbeing is a priority. Our counselors support physical, emotional, and social growth, helping students navigate challenges with care and confidence. In a safe, nurturing community, children are empowered to build resilience, healthy habits, and a strong sense of belonging while growing curiosity and confidence.
From Pre-K through Grade 12, our counselors support every student’s academic, social, and emotional growth. Through tailored guidance and close collaboration with families and staff, we help students build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging in a safe, nurturing environment.
At our Preschool in Arizona, we prioritize social and emotional learning, helping children develop essential skills to navigate challenges and remove barriers to learning.Through whole-class lessons, small groups, and individual support, students explore topics like self-confidence, decision-making, managing emotions, conflict resolution, peer relationships, communication, and goal-setting. Counselors work closely with staff, families, and the community to provide a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate program that supports every child’s growth.
Our Middle and High School counselors guide students’ academic, social, and emotional growth, helping them navigate challenges while making positive choices. Students receive support in individual, group, and classroom settings, building skills in resilience, relationships, and self-awareness.Counselors serve as trusted advocates, working with families, staff, and the community to remove barriers, provide academic support, and offer resources for additional guidance. They foster a safe, inclusive environment, promote healthy social-emotional development, support crisis management, and help students prepare for state and national assessments.
Our School Guidance Program focuses on three key areas - academic achievement, personal and social growth, and career exploration. Our dedicated School Guidance Counselors support students in multiple ways, including:
Student advocacy
Our counselors advocate for every student by understanding individual strengths, challenges, and goals, ensuring students feel heard, supported, and empowered while collaborating with faculty and families to promote academic and personal success.
Individual, group, and crisis counseling
As one of the best private schools in Arizona, counselors provide individual, small-group, and crisis counseling to support students’ emotional, social, and academic well-being, helping them develop resilience, coping strategies, and healthy decision-making skills
Connections to community resources
When additional support is needed, counselors connect students and families with trusted community professionals and external resources to ensure comprehensive care beyond the school environment.
Liaison support
Serving as a key link between teachers, administrators, students, and parents, counselors facilitate open communication, alignment, and collaboration to support student progress and well-being.
Academic support
Counselors guide students toward appropriate academic resources, including tutoring options and study strategies, helping them build effective habits and achieve their full academic potential.
